Fawcett died in hospital surrounded by friends and family shortly before 9.30am on Thursday (LA time), reports said.

Her long term partner, Ryan O’Neal, 68, was by her side. O’Neal said he had talked to Fawcett through the night.

“She’s now with her mother and sister and her God. I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very, very much. She was in and out of consciousness. I talked to her all through the night. I told her how very much I loved her. She’s in a better place now.”

We will all miss the positive attitude and beautiful smile of Farrah Fawcett.

Farrah has been battling anal cancer since September 2006. She declared herself cancer free four months later, then it returned in May 2007.

The former star of Charlie’s Angels went to a Los Angeles hospital last Thursday.
